So I got a good deal on a couple of dromes. Back up, before that I had been collecting terror drome parts, any I could get. Finally, I felt I had enough and got a buddy to sell two 'shells' pretty cheaply.

Its important to note that I love the 'animated' colors on some of the new figures. If I was going to restore a drome, why make it look dull like the old one, when it can be crayola colored(a term coined by my buddy Jestyr)?
First step, after getting all the pieces together, was to start priming and painting(plastic fades and yellows over time, so why not just put some paint on there).
Assembly went quickly, and the new colors contrasted nicely.
Looking great, if you ask me. Now it looks the way I remember it all those years ago. What's next? My buddy Jay used photoshop to test out the next phase:
