My kid's first custom action figure

So I made up my own joe character....Sanction.  Basically, he's Duke's kid that rebelled and joined cobra...boo hiss, sad, I know.  This isn't about my lack of creativity, but rather about how I turned that character into a cool toy for my kid.

Before my son was born, the wife was buy festooning his room with all manner of weird stuff.  I felt the need to input my own tastes, so I decided to add an action figure.  I was terrified of the idea of him ever getting a hold of an actual action figure and choking on cool, but lethal, accessories, so I decided to only jump the age gate by a couple of years.  Action figures meant for kids under five are zero fun.  I looked and looked, but was just not happy with anything I found.  I picked up a few rescue heroes, but even these bulky robo firemen, buffed out cops were not enough.  So what to do....make my own, of course.

This is just a simple repaint, but I am very happy with it.  It still sits on his shelf above his books(and now his head pops off to make a neat choking hazard).
